Six Months

It’s been six months since you moved here. It was a big change for all of us. I am sure it was rough at times. But I hope you had fun. We had visitors and we visited. We had outings. We have memories not always captured in pictures. Pictures are nice, though, to remind us of what we were living through.

These were the times
These were the moments
Surrounded by loved ones
Even when you forget our names
We love you the same
We are happy to be
Close to you so we can touch you
And call your name
We like it when you smile
Because we are all happy inside
We want to hear your laugh
And laugh at your sneeze
Loud enough to wake
The persons nearby
I hope we will have many more
Six months together
With laughter and fun
And adventures awaiting
