The
receptionist, although having seen me only once before, greeted me with “Tran? We’ll
be with you shortly.” The dental assistant came and called out a name I didn’t recognize;
the receptionist corrected her: “Her name is Tran.” The dentist assured me that
I could leave my temporary crown off since it popped out twice. She proceeded
to numb my gum, but on the wrong quadrant! No worry. She found my X-ray and would
work on the correct tooth now. Then the assistant pointed out something to the
dentist. My appointment was for next Monday. I was a wrong patient!
