Veteran’s Day comes once a year
To let us pause and think of you,
Of those who fought and served for all,
Of those whose lives forever did change,
Of those who sacrificed your own
Freedom to assure freedom for all.
We are here to salute you,
Peace be with you throughout the year.
Happy Veteran’s Day to you,
To all the veterans on our land.
Land of peace and opportunities,
Land of love, precious land where we live.
